 Officer Reports

Reeve: absent. Have some issues with the previous quarterly report’s final bank balances – states we have a few thousand dollars, but we have >7k in the bank. Need to check back with Aethelred again.

Marshal: Called off last three practices due to weather & illness, but they were occurring before then. Archery still happening once per month. Rapier on hold. Doing the odd reauthorization; missing authorisations that got done at Canterbury Faire (thrown weapons). People in Southron Gaard are unaware of where the paperwork regarding those authorisations are. At Rowany Festival, helm-off padding was checked for all combatants. One person was using yoga mat and got concussed. May get specifications at Society level for padding types later, but good to discourage yoga mat in particular in the meantime. Will touch base with NZ senior marshals. US groups are using suspension helms and moving away from foam altogether. Anti-concussion foam is now available.

A&S: Cluain A&S position has been advertised.

Seneschal: Things ticking along. Not sure which events need to be closed off as lacking comms from Reeve. St Sebs still open. Need read access to the bank account. Container payment to SG has been authorized but not paid. Rudiger to create payment.

Rudiger proposes to buy aluminium for making loaner shields for $440 for the aluminum and $60 for edging/handles. Melissa seconds. Passed unanimously
