Marshal:

Practices are regularly occurring in both Hamilton and Auckland. Two recent recruits. Fighting will happen at Crown. Confirmed Target Archery Marshalls are current – Rudiger has their cards. Rapier rules have changed, Emrys to disseminate. Rapier practices at Waihi are discontinued for the time being.

Seneschal:

Canterbury Faire was good. Cluain placed well in heavy combat, and some of our archers also did well. Container negotiations have occurred at Canterbury Faire. Please do survey for CF if you attended.

Alternate selection survey reminders have been sent out via e-mail and Facebook

General business:

St Sebastians is next week. 81-82 people are signed up. Hired 3 portaloos due to numbers. Set up weekend has gone well. Need to purchase food and beverages.

Some groups in Australia and CF are having issues with people skipping gate and not paying for events.

Dumpling feast event proposal for 8 June has been submitted. Melissa proposes booking the site for $120. Michelle seconds. Approved unanimously.

Do we want a have-a-go day this year? Maybe before the Dumpling Feast? April or May? Maybe shortly before labour weekend? Will send out request for stewards

Ed keen to run some workshops. People want to make knives. Maybe a chest workshop – have donated wood for chest making purposes.

Sunday 10 March: Medieval Faire at Hamilton Gardens. Several volunteers to man a booth. Christine to show some garb stuff. Aethelred, Florence, and Gerard interested in going. Dominego and Nathanael to advertise to wider group.

Container payment – agreed to pay what was invoiced previously by Southron Gaard (1/3 Darton, 1/3 Ildhafn, 1/3 Cluain) as could not get invoice to be re-done. In future will try to get Southron Gaard to split evenly between Darton and Southron Gaard. Nathanael proposes to pay the amount invoiced by Southron Gaard for the container -- $563.39. Maerwyn seconds. Passed unanimously.

Loaner equipment for fighters. Have two polyprop swords with basket hilts belonging to Rudiger on them. Rudiger proposes to buy up to 4 basket hilts off of Inigo who is bringing them in for ~$50 each to replace personal basket hilts on personal gear with group gear plus shipping for a total spend of up to $300. Nathanael seconds. Passed unanimously.

Ildhafn webright position has come up – will this potentially cause Ildhafn to go into abeyance? No. Seneschal, herald, and A&S officer roles are all coming due.
