A Dumpling Feast - 2024

Join us in the Middle Kingdom for Cluain's third annual dumpling feast! Save the date!

During a particularly bad winter, Zhang Zhongjing is said to have noticed many people with frostbitten ears. To warm the people, he wrapped meat, vegetables, and herbs into dough and formed them into the shape of an ear and boiled them and served them to the people of his village.

We plan to have less frostbite and more dumplings than the story above! We will start off at 3:00pm with snacks, tea and medieval Chinese games. The feast will be served around 6:00-6:30pm, with many types of dumplings, char siu, and other delicious dishes. If you have any questions about the event, please e-mail the webwright, or asq a question on the Cluain e-mail listserv, or the Cluain Village Green.
