Officer Reports
Reeve – Nate (emailed report): Bank balance is $5,843.56. Receipts are coming in for Labour Weekend. SCANZ Treasurer to update the opening value in Xero, once done will stop completing the Excel spreadsheets and use only Xero.
Michelle will advertise Reeve’s role.
Webwright – Melissa: Nothing to report. Michelle will advertise Webwright's role.
Marshall – Roger: Weekly fighters practice continues. No tourneys have been held. Armouring is happening once again. A minor (parents approve) has attended practice. A beginners class was held with an interested person in Papamoa.
Herald – Trent: One device and name pending submission and one name and device has been submitted for consultation. Two consultations are in their infancy. Two members inquired about a submission they made on their household name and device some years ago. Attended the virtual Known World Heraldic & Scribal Symposium on 11-12 July 2020.
Chatelaine – Netty: Some likes have been coming up on our Facebook page. Not much is happening with new people.
A&S – Michelle: Have advertised the Arts and Sciences competition that will be run at the Labour Weekend Living History event in October 2020. Any period item, song, dance that can be used at the Living History event can be entered.
A Winter Workshop Weekend will be held 15-16 August 2020 for people to start/complete/get help with on their projects.
Seneschal – Michelle: It’s really nice to see regular activities within the group up and running again. Looking forward to attending our upcoming events. Have set up a template for event bids as couldn’t find a good one online.
General Business
Market Day Event – Melissa and Nate thinking of running a Market Day followed by an Inn Keeper’s dinner and games evening.
