Officer Reports
Seneschal – Michelle: The Medieval Faire at Hamilton Gardens has been postponed to 08 March 2021.

Reeve – Nate (emailed report): Bank balance is $5,393.32. Only one transaction to report which is the payment for the port-a-loos at St Sebastians. Propose Council closes St Sebastians as all payments & receipts have now been finalised.

Treasurer’s role is probably due to be advertised, Michelle to confirm and proceed as required.

Marshall – Roger: Fighters practice recommenced in Covid-19 Alert Level One. Fighter authorisation cards with an expiry date between 13 March 2020 and 21 August 2020 is considered valid until 21 August 2020.

Chatelaine – Netty: No report received.

Herald – Trent: Have two devices and names pending submission. Have booked for the virtual Known World Heraldic & Scribal Symposium which runs 11-12 July 2020.

Webwright – Melissa: No report received.

A&S – Michelle: An arts and sciences competition will be run at the Labour Weekend Living History event in October 2020. Any period item, song, dance that can be used at the Living History event can be entered. Michelle to advertise the A&S competition and for assistance in marking the entries.

General Business
Labour Weekend Living History Event – David presented his and Sue’s bid. Covid-19 considerations were discussed for funding options. Main differences from previous years are: Saturday and Sunday dinner will have a separate chief cook and there’ll be three chief bakers instead of one. Event setup will be on 17 October 2020.
Council to accept the Labour Weekend Living History event bid, as per the attached document.

Arts and Sciences competition prize: Discussion was held around a prize that would appeal to all members of the populace.
Council to approve $90 (equivalent to free entry to the event) as an A&S prize for Labour Weekend’s Living History Arts and Sciences competition.
Moved by Roger. Seconded by Michelle. Motion passed unanimously.

Winter workshop/project weekend: David and Sue to hold a workshop/project weekend at their property on 15-16 August 2020.
All-weather Hot Water Urn: Roger to provide evidence of the costs he has bourne making the urn and present them at the next council meeting for reimbursement.
