Tavern Games 2019
Where: Showing Waikato Ltd, Level 3, Gate 1B, 800 Heaphy Terrace, Claudelands, Hamilton 3216
A cosy, family friendly, indoor event with a Tavern theme, where Tavern Goers will be able to wyle away the winter hours playing games. Whether it be with period dice, cards, leather board games or the likes of Shove Groat, Nine Mens Morris and period Skittles. Feel free to bring along your medieval games!
A wooden, Braythwayte feast chest and a fine, leather quill container is up for grabs for the two most notorious gamblers. Therefore 5x wooden, handmade dice will be provided to you on entry. Will Lady Luck look favourably upon you?
Hot drinks will be available periodically during the event. A hearty, tavern style dinner will be provided at 6pm and will be cleared away at 8pm.
Event Date: 27 July 2019 - Site opens at 1pm, event starts at 2pm, packdown at 9pm.
Entry fees: Adult (17+ yrs) full member = $17 / Adult (18+ yrs) non SCA member = $19 / Child (5-16 yrs old) = $9 / Child under 5 = Free
Site Info: Parking is on-site. Unfortunately there is no lift, access to Level 3 is by stairwell only. As we are unable to have live flame, feel free to bring any flameless candles/tea lights/period lanterns. This is a discreet venue so if you bring alcohol, please take your empties away with you.
