Activities Pageantry

The SCA worldwide is divided geographically into Kingdoms with a king and a queen, and further divided into Baronies presided over by a Baron and Baroness. The Canton of Cluain is in the Barony of Ildhafn (Auckland) in the Kingdom of Lochac (Australasia). This hierarchical society recreates the medieval period with colourful displays of heraldry, its own customs, courts, guilds and such like.

There is a variety of awards and titles that can be bestowed upon those who distinguish themselves in some way, whether it be as an enthusiastic participant, a fighter, an artisan such as a cook, blacksmith or dancer, or someone who works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the society. These awards are presented in court by the Baron, Baroness, King or Queen.
