Activities costuming
It is difficult to find a sideless surcote, a circle cloak or a pair of turn shoes in a high street shop so most of the costumes we wear have been hand made. From a simple T tunic to the most elaborate Elizabethan gown, from hood to shoes, just about everything has been created to replicate clothes that would have been worn in period.
There is a wealth of expertise within the SCA and it is easy to find someone who can give advice on styling, patterning and construction.
There is loaner garb available for newcomers to use whilst they gather their own kit. There are also a number of on-line shops where you can buy anything from a belt to a complete outfit.
