Officers’ Reports:

Seneshal – Ed

Ed is due to finish in the role in September. Applications close tomorrow and one application has been received so far.

There will probably be a statement agreed for all public platforms for SCA Lochac re diversity and tolerance etc. to be added onto the website, Facebook etc.

Ed reminded people to get recommendations for awards to the Baron and Baroness. It was also mentioned that there will be 3 royal events in the Crescent Isles next year, so bear in mind all levels of award recommendations.

Reeve – Nate

Nate is now on the Cluain Council e-mail list.

We still have money in the account, but Westpac have not yet shifted the administrator role and address for statements across from Roger.

Marshall – Roger

Roger has not yet contacted the council to check if they have any other premises under cover that could be used for fighters’ practices. Monday night practices have stopped.

Heavy fighter has started up in Auckland.

Ed suggested setting a 100 blows challenge for rapier and heavy fighting.

A&S Officer – Liz

Knife workshop happened. Leatherwork will be included in today’s Hastilude.

Liz is working on setting an A&S competition.

Webwright – Melissa

Melissa has found pages linked from the Newcomers page on the Cluain website and updated some information. She has added the times for Hastilude too.

Melissa will send an e-mail request to the group for event photos to upload onto the website.

Melissa and Fina found that there is not much range of activities on Meet Up in Hamilton. Ian suggested using Ildhafn’s link for Hamilton events and trial Meet Up this way, then sign up to it if it gathers interest.

Chatelaine – Netty

No report received. Unable to attend this meeting.
